Campus and Library tours, IT support - all day

Campus Tours

Get to know the campus with a one hour tour beginning at the Welcome Info Point in the Richard Hoggart Building (RHB) reception at 10am, 11, 12pm, 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Library Tours

Find out how to use the library in one of their essential tours.  Meet at the library reception at 10am, 11, 12pm, 1, 2, 3 or 4.

IT Support

The IT&IS Service Desk on the 1st floor of the Library (Rutherford Building) is open 9am-10pm to help with any email, Wi-Fi, or IT problems.

Student Life Fair - 10am-4pm

Discover the opportunities Goldsmiths has to offer and how we can support your learning and wellbeing.  This must visit event is where you'll find out all the different people who can help you throughout your time here.

Students' Union events on College Green - all day

Goldsmiths Students' Union are running events on the College Green:

10.30am-1.30pm - Tabletop Gaming
The Tabletop Gaming Society leads a range of games, with teas and coffees served at the Marquee bar.

1.30-3pm - Zine Making Workshop
Collaboration with [smiths] Magazine and the Zine Society, meet writers, artists and designers and get started on a project or start a new collaboration. All materials supplied.

3-5pm - Happy Calm Knitting
Learn a new craft with the Happy Calm Knitting Society. Welcome Week can be overwhelming, so take some time out to chill with some cat videos, music and knitting. Equipment provided and you can take your pieces home.

Greenwich Market walk with Students' Union - 11am-2pm

Learn more about your local neighbourhood with a walking tour of Greenwich Market lead by Goldsmiths' Students Union.

Bollywood film screening with Students' Union - 12-3pm

Goldsmiths Students' Union are showing the award winning Three Idiots.  It is a coming of age film which follows three students at an Engineering College in India.

International students: Civic reception - 1-2pm

A warm welcome to the local community for all new International and EU students by Lewisham's Chair of Council and Goldsmiths Academic Registrar and Director of the Student Experience.

International students: Cream tea reception - 2.30-4.30pm

A traditional British afternoon event and chance to meet fellow students.

Chocolate Society Milkshake Making - 2-3pm

Come along, drink milkshakes and meet the Goldsmiths Students' Union Chocolate Society.

Enjoy a welcome aperitivo with the Italian Food and Media Society and experience the Italian way of 'having a pint'.
