Article

The Library is available for reference to individuals who need to consult books and journals available here that cannot easily be seen elsewhere. Before visiting the library, readers are advised to check the catalogue to verify that the materials they wish to consult are available.

Opening times for visitors

Library visitors may be admitted to the Rutherford Building between 09.00-21:00 daily.

Day passes

Applications for day reference passes should be made in person at the Library reception desk. When applying for a visiting reference ticket you must provide the library with proof of your address (for example, a recent utility bill).

Please note that we do not admit students from private colleges.

Long term reference passes

If you have an ongoing need to consult the collections you can apply for a long term reference pass online.

Applications can take up to 5 days to process.

Please note that we do not admit students from private colleges.

If you have any questions please email library (@gold.ac.uk)
