Library mission statement
The Library exists to provide access to the information resources needed by students and staff in the formats they can use at the times and places they want to use them. View our Strategic Plan for 2010-2019 (PDF download).
Library study space
The Library provides a variety of different forms of study space: space for individual work (on the first and second floors, in both quiet and silent areas), collaborative group work (on the ground floor) and viewing rooms (on the second floor). The Special Collections Reading Room is also a room where postgraduates can study.
